2. Promotion Guidelines
To maintain our brand integrity, affiliates must adhere to the following:
Ethical Marketing: No "spamming" via email, forums, or social media comments.
Accurate Representation: You may only use approved assets (logos, images, and descriptions) provided in the affiliate portal. Do not make false claims about products.
Platform Restrictions: Promotion is allowed on personal websites and social media. Promotion on "coupon sites" or "deal aggregators" is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent is given.
3. Prohibited Activities
Violation of these terms will result in immediate termination from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:
PPC Bidding: Affiliates may not bid on branded keywords (e.g., "Kigali City Market coupons" or " Kigali City Market reviews") on Google Ads, Bing, or other search engines.
Self-Referrals: You cannot use your own affiliate link to purchase products for yourself.
Inappropriate Content: Links may not be placed on sites containing adult content, hate speech, or illegal activities.
4. Commission Structure (Pay-Per-Click)
Our program rewards partners based on the volume of unique, legitimate traffic sent to our store. Earnings are calculated monthly based on the following tiers:

5. Withdrawal & Payout Rules
We provide flexible withdrawal options for our partners in Rwanda. The following limits apply to all standard withdrawal requests:
Minimum Withdrawal:500 RWF (You must have at least 500 RWF in your balance to request a payout).
Maximum Withdrawal:50,000 RWF per individual transaction during the month.
Monthly Full Settlement: At the end of each calendar month, the "Maximum" limit is lifted. Affiliates are authorized to withdraw their entire remaining balance, regardless of the amount, to ensure you are paid in full for your monthly performance.
Processing Time: Please allow 1-3 business days for funds to appear in your account after a withdrawal request.
6. Traffic Quality & Fraud Prevention
To protect the integrity of the program:
Unique Clicks only: We only pay for unique visitors. Multiple clicks from the same user/IP address will not be counted toward your tier.
Bot Traffic: The use of automated software or "click bots" is strictly prohibited. Accounts showing suspicious traffic patterns will be audited and potentially banned without payout.
7. Traffic Quality Standards
To ensure the sustainability of this program, we monitor traffic quality closely:
Unique Clicks Only: Only unique visitors are counted toward your tiers. Repetitive clicking by the same person or device will be filtered out.
Prohibited Traffic: Use of bots, automated software, or "click-for-click" groups is strictly forbidden.
Verification: We reserve the right to hold payments for up to 3 business days to verify that traffic is legitimate.
8. Affiliate Responsibilities
Transparency: You must disclose that you are an affiliate of Kigali City Market.
Brand Integrity: Do not promote our links on websites containing adult content, gambling, or illegal activities.
9. Registration & Account Requirements
To maintain a high-quality partnership network, we require all potential affiliates to be registered members of our platform.
Customer Account Required: Before applying for the Affiliate Program, you must first create a standard Customer Account on our website.
The Application Process: Once your customer account is active, you may submit an application via the "Affiliate Portal."
Verification: We use your customer profile to verify your identity and contact information. Holding an account does not guarantee acceptance into the program; every application is reviewed manually by our team.

10. Updated "How to Join" Instructions
If you are putting this on a "Join Us" page, you can use this simple three-step breakdown:
Apply: Log in and navigate to the "Become an Affiliate" tab in your account settings.
Get Approved: Our team will review your platforms (social media, blog, etc.) and notify you of your status within [1-3] business days.
Amendments and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace any part of this Affiliate Policy at our sole discretion.
Notification of Changes: We will notify you of any significant amendments to this policy. Notifications will be sent via the email address associated with your Customer Account or posted as a formal announcement within your Affiliate Dashboard.
Review Period: Changes become effective 3 days after the notification is sent.
Acceptance of Terms: Your continued participation in the Affiliate Program following the effective date of any changes constitutes your full acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree with the updated terms, your sole remedy is to terminate your participation in the program and remove all affiliate links.
